Agarwood, known as Oud or "liquid gold," is formed when Aquilaria trees become infected with a specific mold, producing a dark, aromatic resin as a defense mechanism. Only 2% of wild Aquilaria trees produce this resin, making genuine agarwood extraordinarily rare. Our premium chips are sourced from mature trees and graded for resin density and aromatic complexity. Used for centuries in incense, traditional medicine, and perfumery across Middle Eastern, East Asian, and South Asian cultures.
